Roocops Discord Bot Setup Guide

Learn how to connect the Roocops Discord bot to your Ragnarok Origin: Classic guild War Room.

What the Roocops Discord bot does

The Roocops bot lets officers run live War Room workflows from Discord during guild events. It can post check-ins, collect member responses, show response counts, list missing or skipping members, post finalized reports, and send War Room screenshots to the configured channel.

The bot does not read server messages. Members must be linked to roster entries before member-specific commands work.

Invite or add the bot

  1. Use the Roocops Discord invite/help link from Settings or the footer.
  2. Install the bot in the Discord server used by your guild.
  3. Give the bot permission to send messages and attach files in your War Room channel.
  4. Run the Settings test message after pasting your IDs.

Enable Developer Mode and copy IDs

  1. In Discord, open User Settings, then Advanced.
  2. Enable Developer Mode.
  3. Right-click your Discord server icon and choose Copy Server ID.
  4. Right-click the War Room channel and choose Copy Channel ID.
  5. In Roocops, open Dashboard, Settings, then paste those IDs into Discord Server ID and Discord War Room Channel ID.
  6. Click Send Test Message to Discord.

Link members safely

Members run /link-requestwith their exact Roocops roster name. Roocops creates a pending request, but does not auto-link it. Officers approve or reject requests in the Roster page so one member cannot silently claim another member's roster identity.

Discord command reference

Members

/link-request - Ask officers to link your Discord account to your Roocops roster member.

/set - Set your War Room response: Present, Skip Feather, Skip Card, Skip Both, or Clear.

/my-status - Show your current War Room response without exposing other members.

Officers

/checkin - Post the active War Room check-in buttons.

/status - Show current War Room response counts.

/open-slots - Show current open or replacement-needed slots.

/who-missing - List eligible members who have not responded.

/who-skip - Group members skipping Feather, Card, or both.

/report - Post the latest finalized War Room report.

Common troubleshooting

This Discord server is not linked

Confirm the Discord Server ID in Roocops Settings matches the server where the command was run.

Your Discord account is not linked

Run /link-request with your exact roster name, then ask an officer to approve it in Roocops.

No active War Room session found

Create or reopen a War Room session in Roocops before using live War Room commands.

Bot cannot post in this channel

Check that the bot is installed, the War Room Channel ID is correct, and the bot can Send Messages and Attach Files.

No finalized report found yet

Finalize a War Room session before using /report.
