Discord Integration Checklist
Configure your server integrations with Roocops. Check off steps locally as you complete them to track your configuration progress.
Add the official bot to your Discord Server. Officers must have Manage Server permission to authorize bot invites.
⚠️ Warning: Administrator role is NOT required.
Grant the bot the following discrete permissions on your channels:
- View Channels
- Send Messages
- Embed Links
- Attach Files
- Read Message History
- Use Slash Commands
Copy your Server ID from Discord Developer settings or by right-clicking your Discord server emblem (Developer Mode active). Insert it on the Discord Setup settings page on Roocops portal.
Assign a specific restricted text channel (e.g. #officer-auction-logs) where the bot will spawn the interactive command center. Members should not have View permissions for this channel to protect command panel security.
Define target routing channels to keep announcements separate:
- Check-in Channel: Directs poll embeddings.
- Output Channel: Receives generated board images.
- Bidding Notice Channel: Receives specific bidder list alerts.
- Report Channel: Persists session snapshot logs.
Click the 'Send Test Message' button inside the web setup panel. The bot will broadcast a diagnostics handshake confirmation text directly inside your War Room channel.
Finally, type and submit the command /warroom in your Discord War Room channel. The interactive control panel will generate instantly.
